Cold-rolled sheet is a product made of hot-rolled coil as raw material and rolled at room temperature below the recrystallization temperature. It is mostly used in automobile manufacturing and electrical products. Cold rolling is rolling at the recrystallization temperature, but it is generally understood as rolling using normal temperature rolling materials.

Cold rolling: with hot rolled steel coil as raw material, after pickling to remove the oxide skin for cold continuous rolling, the finished product is rolled hard roll, because of the cold hardening caused by continuous cold deformation of the rolled hard roll strength, hardness, toughness and plastic index decline, so the stamping performance will deteriorate, can only be used for simple deformation parts. Hard roll can be used as raw material in hot dip galvanizing plant because hot dip galvanizing units are equipped with annealing line. Rolled hard coil weight is generally 6~13.5 tons, steel coil at room temperature, hot rolled pickling coil continuous rolling. The inner diameter is 610mm.

The thickness of cold-rolled plate is generally between 0.1 and 8.0mm, and the thickness of cold-rolled plate produced by most factories is below 4.5mm. The thickness and width of cold-rolled plate are determined by the equipment capacity of each factory and the market demand.

Continuous casting slab or preliminary rolling slab is used as raw material, heated by stepping furnace, descaled by high pressure water into roughing mill, roughing mill through cutting head, tail, and then into finishing mill, the implementation of computer controlled rolling, after the final rolling is laminar cooling (computer controlled cooling rate) and coiler winding, straight coil.Namely: hot rolled steel plate, flat hot rolled steel coil, slitting and other products. Hot rolled finishing roll is formed by pickling and oiling after removing oxidation skin.

It's a flat sheet of steel poured with molten steel, cooled and pressed.
It is flat, rectangular and can be rolled directly or cut from a wide strip of steel.
Steel plate is divided by thickness, thin steel plate < 4 mm (the thinest 0.2 mm), medium thick steel plate 4~60 mm, extra thick steel plate 60~115 mm.
Steel plate is divided into hot rolled and cold rolled according to rolling.
